Outta the way, turmeric.

 

Durian is the real MVP when it comes to superfoods. In fact, so much so that it is often referred to as “The King of Fruits”. 

Frequently growing up to 1 ft. In length, durian is encased in a tough, hard-to-handle shell that belies the silky, custardy flesh that is encased within. 

Durian has long been used in Eastern medicine, and it’s not hard to see why. It’s packed with a range of vitamins and minerals including Vitamin C, Thiamine, Manganese, Vitamin B6, copper, and Magnesium, as well as tonnes of antioxidants and healthy fats. 

 

In addition to being incredible for your overall health, durian can improve your skin and hair, reduce blood pressure, and even give your libido a little nudge in the right direction. In fact, from the Strait of Malacca, to Sarawak, to Penang , it’s been Known to fix many malaise.
